“Customer,” “you,” “your” refers to the individual or entity using our services.
“Carrier” means the independent trucking company or driver assigned to transport your vehicle(s).
Cross State Car Movers provides vehicle transport services by coordinating with licensed and insured carriers. While we strive to provide reliable and timely service, we act as a transport broker and not the direct carrier unless explicitly stated.
All quotes are based on the information you provide (vehicle type, condition, pickup and delivery locations, transport type).
Prices may vary if the information provided is inaccurate or if circumstances change (e.g., oversized vehicles, remote pickup/delivery).
A deposit may be required to secure booking.
Pickup and delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed due to factors beyond our control (weather, traffic, mechanical issues, etc.).
Customers must be available or designate an authorized representative at pickup and delivery locations.
Vehicles must be operable unless otherwise stated; non-running vehicles require additional arrangements and fees.
Customers must disclose the vehicle’s condition prior to booking (running/non-running, modified, oversized).
The vehicle must be free of illegal items, hazardous materials, or personal belongings.
The Company and Carrier are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items inside the vehicle.
All carriers arranged by us are required to maintain valid liability and cargo insurance.
Customers must inspect the vehicle upon delivery and note any damages on the Bill of Lading.
Claims must be filed directly with the carrier’s insurance company. Cross State Car Movers will assist in the process but is not responsible for carrier damages.
Customers may cancel before dispatch without penalty.
Once a carrier is assigned, deposits may be non-refundable.
If the vehicle cannot be picked up after carrier assignment due to customer-related issues, additional fees may apply.
Payments may be made via credit card, debit card, or other approved methods.
Balance payments are typically due upon vehicle delivery and must be made directly to the carrier (cash, cashier’s check, or money order unless otherwise agreed).
You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information.
Prepare your vehicle for transport (remove valuables, disable alarms, provide keys).
Be available for communication regarding scheduling and delivery updates.
Cross State Car Movers shall not be liable for:
Delays caused by carriers, weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances.
Loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle.
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to our services.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the state in which the Company operates.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be effective upon posting on our website.
